At present I am working for the most widely circulated newspaper in the country, Daily Bangladesh Pratidin. Basically as a Senior reporter with more than 14 years of experience in print media. Specialized in court reporting, crime investigation, judiciary affairs journalism. Recognized for source-based reporting, fact-checking, and exclusive story development.
Journalism is both my profession and passion, and for a long time, I have been covering issues related to law, human rights, and social affairs.
I have a strong desire to work in a challenging environment where I can utilize my education and skills. To achieve this aim, I am determined to offer honesty, efficiency and sincerity to the optimum level.
I began my journalism career in 2008 while pursuing my Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) studies in Munshiganj. In 2011, during my undergraduate studies, I joined the daily Janata as a staff reporter in Dhaka, where I started my journey in legal journalism. Later, from June 1, 2012, to December 31, 2017, I worked at the daily Janakantha as a staff reporter. On January 1, 2018, I joined Bangladesh Pratidin, where I am currently serving as a Senior Reporter.
At present, I also hold the position of Joint Secretary at the Law Reporters Forum (LRF), an organization of journalists covering legal, judicial, and human rights issues.
I was born on May 16, 1991, in Balai village, Tongibari upazila of Munshiganj district (at Grandma’s house). My father, Md. Aslam Dhali, spent many years abroad and is now a businessman in Bangladesh. My mother, Farida Begum, is a housewife. My wife, Nasrin, is also a housewife, and we have one daughter, Mushfika Islam Arisha is a Class Three student.
I obtained my Bachelor of Social Science (B.S.S.) degree from Government Haraganga College, Munshiganj, under the National University, and a Master of Social Science (M.S.S.) degree in Political Science from Tejgaon College, Dhaka.
